About 1,800 groups flocked to Wing Tai’s LakeGarden Residences over two weekends of previews

Wing Tai Asia’s LakeGarden Residences, located within the up-and-coming Jurong Lake District, is considered one of the most anticipated project launches of 2023, according to Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex. With two weekends of previews beginning on July 22, the developer recorded about 1,800 groups of visitors to its sales gallery in Jurong – mostly families.

Comprised of 306 units with a mix of one to five-bedroom units and four duplex penthouses, the LakeGarden Residences also boasts two 19-storey condominium blocks that face Jurong Lake Gardens – a sprawling 90ha of greenery. The majority of the units have unblocked views of the landscape, making it an ideal getaway for homebuyers.

When the LakeGarden Residences launch on August 5, prices are expected to start from just under $2,000 psf. More specifically, one-bedroom-plus-study units at 527 sq ft will be priced from $1.03 million ($1,954 psf) while three-bedders from 926 sq ft start from $1.8 million ($1,944 psf).

Recently purchased in an en bloc deal for $273.88 million in May 2022, this redevelopment will be the first project launch in the Jurong Lake District in seven years. The most recent addition was the 710-unit Lake Grande in 2016, preceded by 696-unit LakeVille in 2014.
