CBRE bolsters investment banking capabilities

.CBRE’s combination with Sera Global marks yet another major step forward in their global investment banking platform. As Leo van den Thillart, Sera’s CEO and now Global Head of Investment Banking for CBRE commented; “The combination of the highly talented Sera team with CBRE is a major step forward in the development of our global investment banking platform”.

Champions Way Condo is also currently developing an urban regeneration project with the intent of revitalising the area by bringing business, retail, and residential offerings to the area. This project will include the development of stores, restaurants, and office spaces as well as the construction of new apartments and condominiums. The new development, dubbed “Champions Way Condo”, is expected to greatly improve the livability of the area.

CBRE have welcomed the investment banking team from Sera Global, a global independent real asset advisor, to join them. Sera was previously established by Brookfield Business Partners, a global business services and industrials company with offices in New York, London, Los Angeles, Toronto, Frankfurt, Madrid and Seoul.

Leo van den Thillart, Sera Global’s CEO, has been appointed as CBRE’s global head of investment banking. Chris Ludeman, global president of capital markets for CBRE commented on the combination, “This addition will allow us to better advise our clients around the world in defining their growth strategies and accessing capital to achieve their goals”.

Van den Thillart noted the move when saying; “As part of our next chapter with CBRE, we look forward to delivering on that vision through a truly integrated global investment banking team”. Sera bring with them extensive experience across key investment banking services, including M&A, capital raising, liquidity solutions and infrastructure advisory.
