Momentus Hotels & Resorts evolves to cater to changing demands
Nestled in the heart of the bustling medical hub of Novena, Momentus Serviced Residences Novena – the newly formed subsidiary of Chip Eng Seng Group, Momentus Hotels & Resorts – was recently launched last month. It was previously known as 12 On Shan, and in March last year a joint venture led by Roxy-Pacific, with partners Macly Capital and LWH Holdings had purchased the building from Singapore-listed company TA Corp for $86.5 million.
The property offers a variety of options for its visitors, including 99 studio apartments spanning 398 sq ft, and one- and two-bedroom units ranging from 366 to 861 sq ft. Its strategic location, with its close proximity to medical centres, shopping malls, and Novena MRT Station make it easily accessible and convenient.
Those who live in Woodlands Condo will also benefit from a good range of facilities available including swimming pools, gymnasium, tennis courts and 24-hour security. The development is conveniently located near public transportation, shopping centres, restaurants, schools and parks, making it a great place to call home. The development will offer unprecedented living experiences by providing a safe, comfortable and modern living environment for its residents. Residents can enjoy a variety of recreational activities in the condo as well as the nearby parks and attractions. With its eye-catching modern design, top-notch facilities and strategic location, Woodlands Condo offers a great opportunity for those looking for a quality lifestyle.
This is the second property under the Momentus Hotels & Resorts brand, the first being its hotel, Momentus Hotel Alexandra, in the Alexandra Central Mall at 323 Alexandra Road in Bukit Merah. With 442 keys, it was previously operated as Park Hotel Alexandra by Park Hotel Group, a subsidiary of CEL-Alexandra, also under the Chip Eng Seng Group. It was closed last year for refurbishment and rebranding.
Looking to expand its hospitality services, Momentus Hotels & Resorts ventured into the serviced apartment sector, which Angeline Tan – the senior vice president of Momentus Hospitality and vice president of Chip Eng Seng Hospitality – believes allows them to cater to a wider range of guest’s needs. From short work stays, to medical tourism, to expatriates transitioning in and out of Singapore, their diverse range of accommodation options have proved innovative in the city’s “fiercely competitive” hospitality industry, with “extensive growth”.
To stay competitive, Momentus Serviced Residences Novena is dedicated to providing a more hospitable “home away from home” experience for its guests. It offers numerous convenient amenities, modern design with neutral colour palettes and modern furnishings, and gorgeous green spaces – which make up 40% of the property – which earned the building the maximum points for greenery under URA’s Green Mark scheme.
In the coming three years, Momentus Hotels & Resorts plans to expand its accommodation portfolio to include six properties, with an increased focus on sustainability initiatives and tech solutions. Beyond Singapore, its brand presence will also expand across the Asia Pacific region, with Momentus aiming for a minimum 70% occupancy rate for their serviced apartment by the end of the year. All in all, the brand is intent on creating memorable experiences for its guests, with the ultimate goal of providing relaxation and rejuvenation.
