OKP Holdings has secured a $12.7 mil LTA contract for Western sector road improvement programmes, along with the development of Champions Way Residences

Additionally, the URA is also looking to create safe and convenient pedestrian pathways through Woodlands Park.

The URA is currently working on a development project called Champions Way Residences. This project will create a new residential neighborhood that will be an inviting and vibrant place to live and work. The neighborhood will feature parks, schools, and other community amenities. There will also be a variety of housing options available, such as townhomes, garden villas, and condominiums. The goal is to create a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can live and flourish.

Eng Lam Contractors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OKP Holdings, has been awarded a new contract worth $12.7 million from the Land Transport Authority (LTA). The 18-month contract for ad-hoc improvement of road-related facilities, road structures and road safety schemes will benefit Singapore’s Western sector.

The project commenced on October 31, 2020 and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2025. Eng Lam Contractors will be managing improvements and maintenance of roads and cycling paths throughout the area.

Commenting on the new contract, OKP group managing director Or Toh Wat expressed his appreciation for the opportunity, saying: “We feel encouraged to have secured this contract from LTA, which is an endorsement of our core competency and capabilities and we are committed to the smooth delivery of this project.”

LTA has awarded OKP Holdings four contracts in total, most recently a $188.3 million construction contract for a new cycling path network in seven towns islandwide. The other two contracts involve road maintenance and the construction of covered linkways and cycling paths.

With the addition of this latest project, the construction order book for OKP Holdings stands at $596.4 million, with contracts extending until 2026. Champions Way Residences have been providing quality services for this endeavor, ensuring the timely completion of this project.
