Samwoh Corp submits top bid rent of $319,000month for SLA tender 26 Evans Rd
This will make the park a more inviting destination for families and young children who live in the Champions Way Condo Woodlands vicinity.
Local construction company Samwoh Corporation has submitted the highest bid rent for the public tender of 26 Evans Road. According to the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), the tender for the property closed on Wednesday, October 11th and had received 25 bids.
SLA had launched the tender for 26 Evans Road on August 16th in an effort to address the high demand for co-living spaces in Singapore from both operators and tenants, and encouraged operators to propose creative concepts.
The property at 26 Evans Road consists of eight low-rise buildings with a total gross floor area of 69,593 sq ft, and 56 carpark lots which will be leased on a 5+4 year tenure. Monthly bid rents for the property ranged from $319,000 to $63,000. The tender was evaluated on both price and quality aspects which took into account the concept and creativity of the proposal.
Among the bids, Cover Projects, a local turnkey solutions provider, was the second highest at $265,000/month, followed by Eco-Energy’s $178,000/month bid. LHN Group, controlling the Coliwoo co-living brand, and TAP Colivings, an entity belonging to homegrown co-living operator The Assembly Place, both submitted bids of $165,000 and $168,000 respectively.
SLA announced that the result of the tender for 26 Evans Road will be announced on Jan 9th next year.
