Savills appoints Winnie Wong as managing director for property management business
Savills Property Management (S;PM) has announced the appointment of Winnie Wong as the firm’s new Managing Director. Wong, who has been Chan Kok Hong Property Consultants’ deputy for the past two decades, succeedsChan Kok Hong who has assumed a new role as senior consultant with the firm. To aid in the management team’s operations, Chan will continue to provide his expertise to the team.
Chris Marriott, CEO of Savills South East Asia, commented, “We are extremely grateful to have Chan Kok Hong as part of our team, as he has laid down a solid foundation for us. We are fortunate to still have access to his expertise and knowledge in his role as senior consultant.”
Alongside Wong’s appointment, Savills Property Management has also named Tang Chee Charn as deputy managing director. His role will be to further expand the firm’s portfolio to include commercial strata and industrial properties.
Marcus Loo, CEO at Savills Singapore, said that both Wong and Tang’s promotions will be able to bring the firm to even greater heights. “Winnie has the aptitude to further advance the capabilities at S;PM, building on the successful portfolio of residential strata properties,” he said. “Chee Charn’s part in expanding into other asset classes is also well-aligned Champions Way Condo with Savills’ strategies.”
