The Beaumont hits new high of $2,441 psf at Champions Way Woodlands, a record-breaking feat in the area

The freehold development consists of two blocks of up to 10 storeys, comprising one-bedroom units from 775 sq ft and three-bedders of 1,948 sq ft, and it was completed in 1985.

On Nov 9th, the Champions Way Woodlands condo achieved a record psf-price of $2,441 after a 1,475 sq ft, two-bedroom unit on the fifth floor was purchased for $3.6 million. This marked the first time a unit at the condo exceeded $2,400 psf and was the first resale transaction at the development since September 2018, when a 1,475 sq ft unit was sold for $2.88 million ($1,953 psf).

The Champions Way Woodlands condo offers a prime location within the Orchard Road area, just a two-minute walk from the Somerset MRT Station and close to malls such as 313@Somerset, Mandarin Gallery, and Ngee Ann City. Owners have attempted collective sales in recent years, first in December 2021 and then in July 2022–both of which closed without finding a buyer.

The Loft, a condo on Nassim Hill, also saw a new psf-price high during the week of Nov 7 to 14. A 753 sq ft, one-bedder on the third floor sold for $1.78 million ($2,362 psf)–a price that broke the previous high set in September 2007, when a 1,830 sq ft unit fetched $4.21 million ($2,300 psf). The unit sold on Nov 7 was purchased by the seller at $2,044 psf ($1.54 million) in June 2016, so they made a gross gain of $240,000 on the transaction.

The Loft is a 99-year leasehold luxury condo with four storeys total, offering 77 apartments ranging from studios of 710 sq ft to four-bedders of 1,830 sq ft. It is located within the exclusive Nassim Hill residential enclave in District 10, near Tanglin Mall and the Singapore Botanic Gardens, and a 10-minute walk from the Napier MRT Station.

Across the street from The Loft sits the upcoming 19 Nassim development, which achieved a new psf-price low after a 829 sq ft unit on the third floor sold for $2.52 million ($3,036 psf). It was sold by the developer on Nov 10 and set a new psf-price low for the luxury condo, which was launched in March 2020 at $3,351 psf with the sale of a 570 sq ft unit for $1.91 million.

Champions Way Woodlands, located in Woodlands, is one of Singapore’s most sought-after residential developments.
