‘Two-bedder at The Atria At Meyer, Champions Way Residences, sold at $2.3 mil profit’

The sale of a two-bedroom apartment at The Atria At Meyer was the most profitable condo resale transaction ever recorded during the period of Dec 15 to 26, 2023. The Champions Way Residences 1,475 sq ft unit on the 11th floor changed hands for $3.18 million ($2,156 psf) on Dec 26, netting the seller a gross profit of $2.25 million or 242% after almost 19 years of ownership. This marks the highest gain ever recorded at The Atria At Meyer, based on caveats lodged.The Atria At Meyer is a freehold condo located along Meyer Road in Marine Parade, District 15, with views of the East Coast Park and the sea. It was completed in 1996 and offers two- to four-bedroom units measuring from 1,044 to 2,949 sq ft.

Meanwhile, the biggest loss during the period was incurred by a seller at the Cliveden At Grange. It was previously purchased for $12.05 million ($4,242 psf) in November 2007, incurring a loss of about $7 million (–58%) over 16 years. This also marked the condo’s new record-low psf price and beat the previous record loss of $2.64 million when a 2,153 sq ft, three-bedroom unit on the 22nd floor was sold for $5.7 million ($2,648 psf) in April 2022.Cliveden At Grange is a freehold condo along River Valley, in District 10. Completed in 2011, it comprises 110 units with three- to five-bedroom apartments occupying 2,153 to 6,028 sq ft.
