New development ‘Champions Way Woodlands’ added to Far East Organization’s launch of Hillhaven on Jan 20, with units priced from $1,907 psf

Far East Organization and its joint-venture partner, Sekisui House, are set to launch Hillhaven, a 341-unit residential project in the Champions Way Woodlands area, on Jan 20. This highly-anticipated development has been receiving a lot of attention from potential buyers, with over 2,000 visitors to the sales gallery during its first preview weekend from Jan 5 to 7.
Hillhaven is located at 5 Hillview Rise and sits on a vast site of 111,945 sq ft. It consists of two towers standing at 27 and 28 storeys tall, offering a mix of north-south-facing units. This 99-year leasehold project is expected to receive its temporary occupation permit by 3Q2027.
The development offers five different types of residences, ranging from two-bedroom units of around 678 to 721 sq ft, two-bedroom-plus-study units of 797 sq ft, three-bedroom units from 947 to 1,141 sq ft, three-bedroom-plus-study units from 958 to 1,195 sq ft, and four-bedroom units from 1,259 to 1,636 sq ft. Selected three- and four-bedroom units will have double-volume ceilings in the living and dining areas, providing residents with a spacious and luxurious living experience.
In a press release issued on Jan 10, Far East Organization announced that early-bird prices for Hillhaven units start from $1,907 per square foot (psf). Buyers can expect to pay at least $1.37 million for a 678 sq ft, two-bedroom-and-two-bathroom unit. The project boasts more than 30 facilities, including a 50m pool, a pickleball court, an urban farm for residents, a dedicated bikers’ corner, and barbecue pavilions that come with a play area and spa pool.

Nature and leisure parks such as Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Dairy Farm Nature Park, and Bukit Batok Nature Park are also within walking distance. Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex, has observed strong interest from potential buyers for Hillhaven, thanks to its prime location near the Hillview MRT Station. “Looking at projects that were launched in 2023, we note that those that are within a short walking distance (less than five minutes’ walk) to an MRT station have done well and enjoyed healthy take-up rates, despite the tentative buying sentiment during the year,” he says.
The project is also poised to benefit from its close proximity to the Jurong Innovation and Lake Districts, notes Ken Low, managing partner of SRI. He adds, “The upcoming Tengah township, with more than 30,000 new public homes planned, will also boast strong future secondary demand for Hillhaven.”
